BAFTA | A LIFE IN PICTURES ~ Gary Oldman
I was here - sitting front row centre - this day last year!!! And it was by far the best day of my life!!! ♥ *nostalgic sniff* I will forever appreciate how blessed I was to meet my all-time favourite actor/hero/idol, and he was even more handsome, sweet, funny, sexy, unique, and ‘Gary’ in person!!!
I also feature in this vid, for like, the tiniest millisecond!!! XD Pause at 0.25, that’s my black hair over Gary’s left shoulder right after he’d entered the BAFTA building… we’d meet in the same place again 2 hours later…

Cheers dude, right back atcha!!! :-) And sure did, that’s us right there!!! XD I’ve been lucky enough to meet many amazing actors (you’ll see some if you make a brief scroll back through my blog), but Gary’s my absolute fave and it’s still hard to believe I got to meet him last year… I don’t think it’ll ever be topped!!! ^.^
Thanks for messaging, and for following back :-) xxx

Did me some bargain hunting this week and got this lot for under 20 bucks… Check out the vintage 1964 book on JFK’s epic wit (I’ve wanted it forever!), my ‘lethal’ cousin (love the bio name - what a find!), and the big hardback book on Diana’s wedding dress!!! The 80s ‘Royalty Revealed’ only revealed how in love Charles and Diana were and that they couldn’t wait to be King and Queen…sad times! :-(

Awwww, thank you ever so much sweetheart!!!! *blush* Wasn’t even going to post it up I’m so cringe but darlings such as yourself and my friends on FB have been so so kind - your message means so much! x
Various Themes from ‘Titanic’
Okay, so I wanted to do *something* to mark the centenary of the ‘Titanic’s’ tragic maiden voyage, and whilst I hate to use the 1997 film as my point-of-reference, James Horner is one of my fave film composers and his soundtrack was just beaut… Here’s my 10,000% amateur messin’ about with some themes from the film…

LOL, I don’t usually share but everyone has the right to enjoy some yum Cadbury’s!!! :-D
Ohhh yes, fave classic movies of mine would be anything featuring Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly… Got ‘The Sound of Music on Blu Ray and watched it recently - ohhh Captain Von Trapp!!!
Ohhh sure, I’m a huge Jackie fan - infact, I run the jackandjackie tumblr!!! :-) ‘Mrs. Kennedy and Me’? Oh yes, the new book written by Secret Service Clint Hill - I cannot wait to get my paws on it!!! I have some JFK documenatries on DVD, and one of them is based on the Secret Service agents. Clint Hill and many of his peers speak so candidly about their time working with the first family and it’s both a delight and truly heartbreaking to hear about minute stories about John John falling off the swing and losing a tooth to the tagedy of the President’s death. Primary source material is always precious to any history-buff, so it’s wonderful to hear about the work of the Secret Service agents told by a secret service agent.

I DID!!! XD I guess you saw the pics!!! It’ll always be so freakin’ surreal and I feel like it’s happened to someone else, so I kinda look at the pics EVERY DAY for proof!!! Hehe! And when I thought I couldn’t love him any more, he was so sweet, kind, patient and funny when I met him… an awesome man and then some! He and JD need to team up for a movie!!!
…By the by, my fave fan encounter of Johnny’s was on the Graham Norton Show last November when promoting ‘Life is Short’… http://bit.ly/HsXk6A …JD’s moments are the last 2 stories on the vid, and my fave enounter starts at about 8.20. I always thought he was so talented and hot, but I fell in love so hard after watching it… another AWESOME man! XD
Thanks for messaging, loving your blog too! :-D
Ahhhh *cuddles* not at all hun, only glad to share the experience with peeps who ‘understand’. I did the write-ups so as to save every detail from the encounters as possible… and that reminds me, I must finish up the one about Gary!!! I work in the industry but I will always be, first and foremost, a fangirl! XD
